HI Bridge and KNOT Ramp

After creating the Gymlacium installation in the Museum Lab, which allows only 10+ years olds to enter, it felt only fair to create a smaller version of the Gymlacium that also smaller kids could experience.
In the Garage area of the main museum building we replaced the old warn out cargo net ramp and bridge with the newly handmade lace elements. The custom nature of the process allowed to create shapes that are geometrically much more natural to climb while being also structurally much sturdier and safer. By the on site installation and final touches both pieces appear as they were grown inside the structure.
